Your Support from Ayusa

Ayusa is by your side before and during your au pair program

While before the program your main contact will be in the Berlin office, you will receive the contact information of your local Ayusa coordinator with your host family information. We at Ayusa believe it is important that you and the host family have one local contact who knows both you and the host family. The coordinator visits each family prior to your match with them. They will also meet with you and the family right after your arrival to speak with you about the program. The coordinator lives within a hour distance of you to come in case you or the host family has any problems or need support.

The Ayusa local coordinators generally have been au pairs themselves and thus understand what it means to live with a host family, take care of their children and be surrounded by a foreign langauge and culture. The coordinator also organizes monthly au pair meetings. Please remember that the coordinators are not full time staff but they generally have another job. Of course, you also get the phone number and e-mail of the Berlin office and the 24-hour phone number in case of an emergency situation.

We take the support of our au pairs seriously and want to do our best that you and your host family have a successful au pair program in Germany!
